The Reading and Writing Process using ICT
This revised summer course for 2017 from PDST TiE will investigate will investigate a wide range of easy to use, practical online resources which can build and foster pupils' skills in reading comprehension, oral language, writing and vocabulary at all class levels.
It will also explore how ICT can be used to support and develop key elements of literacy by developing a digital portfolio of sample teaching, learning and assessment resources for all class levels over the week.
Each module makes reference to classroom based examples of using ICT to support differentiation so as to cater for our pupils’ varying learning abilities and SEN needs. Other relevant areas discussed during this course include building safer internet practices in my school, integrating technologies in literacy intervention programs as well as planning for e-learning and SSE on a whole school level.
