We are holding an event in Laois Education Support Centre on May 25th 4.00-5.30 pm where we hope to showcase some of the fantastic work going on in local schools and also let attendees know about some of the projects we run through the Centre . We will be demonstrating some of the resources we loan out to schools on the evening. We are also hosting a Teachmeet where a number of teachers will give a short, 3 minute presentation on an initiative they have been involved in that they found worthwhile.
We are also inviting a number of local schools to host a stand at this event showcasing a project/ initiative they have been involved in to other teachers attending. This will cover the arts, STEM, debating, chess, AR/VR, gardening, Readers’ Theatre, music, robotics, to name but a few.
We invite you to come along, have a coffee and a chat with the various showcasers and maybe leave with a few ideas that might be useful in your own setting.
