The theme of this conference challenges us to look at issues around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (E.D.I.) through the lens of community and belonging in the Irish education system across early years, primary and post-primary sectors. The conference will attempt to explore what is the reality in our education settings in relation to E.D.I., what are the challenges to E.D.I. and how can we conceptualise and realise the best possible future for all our students. It will explore how we can create truly inclusive learning environments while navigating the complex terrain of E.D.I. successfully for all who are part of this system. This day will focus on sharing learning and advancing good practice. We welcome abstracts in the area of E.D.I. from practitioners, researchers and those who have completed projects/studies in the area of E.D.I.
