A few questions answered...
Can I come along to the A.G.M. even if I know very little about the Centre?
Yes you can. The AGM simply provides an overview of the kinds of activities the Centre was involved in over the past year and looks at how we could develop the Centre going forward.
Will I have to go onto a Committee?
No, not unless you want to! You can simply come along and get a flavour of the kinds of courses, projects and activities the Centre is involved in.
What work does the Management Committee of the Centre do?
It oversees the running of the Centre. It usually has one brief meeting per month after school during the school year.
What would I gain from being involved with the Centre’s Management Committee?
Your voice would be heard when developments were being planned.
You would understand the latest developments in CPD coming from various sources.
You would help the Centre hear the perspective of your own sector (primary/post-primary).
You would meet other teachers.
You would help us look at local needs and gaps in what we provide.
