Structured Teaching in the Autism Classroom (P/PP Teachers) 28.1.25
This webinar is aimed at teachers working in the special class for Autism, or those considering making the move to working in the Autism specific classroom. Teachers working in mainstream with autistic children in their classroom, or as SET with autistic children may also find the webinar helpful. The session will focus on:
- The importance of structure and routine for autistic students
- Developing a structured classroom environment
- Creating structured teaching activities and lessons
- Using structure to support independence in learning and skills.
- Using structure to support and facilitate flexibility.
A resource pack of slides, handouts and links will be available to participants through the education centre following the course
