Literacy Lift Off (face-to-face in Laois Education Centre) 5.10.23

Literacy Lift Off is an intervention that gives children lots of opportunities to read books at their own level of competency and gradually lift the complexity of what they can do in both reading and writing.

This three-part face-to-face course in Laois Education Centre on Thursday 5th, 12th & 19th October will demonstrate how to assess plan, monitor and implement this classroom intervention to maximise children’s learning using in class support. This course will outline suitable assessment as well as providing guidance on planning for a sustainable and successful intervention. Suitable for SET teachers and senior infants to 2nd Class.

Facilitated by Primary teacher, trained Reading Recovery Teacher, DEIS Band 1 school co-ordinator for Literacy throughout the School and Talk Boost Trainer.
