- An overview of co-regulation from a neuroscientific and developmentalviewpoint will be given providing participants with an understanding of theimportance of regulation and how dysregulation may present.
- The key elements of effective communication will be outlined. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of the 'relationship' for both co-regulation and communication. The link between regulation and co-operation will be detailed and practical examples given.
- An abundance of co-regulation tools will be outlined for a wide rage ofages- from junior infants to second level.
- Participants will learn how to enhance communication andco-operationthrough co-regulation while maintaining firm boundaries
- Opportunity for questions and answers will be provided.
- Finally, a list of further resources will be given.
