Computer technology plays a large part in today’s society, with student/SNA’s now owning a smart device of some sort, be it a Smart phone; Tablet; Laptop or Desktop computer. Using this hardware require some knowledge of the Internet and the Digital world and the devices in it.
These session in Basic ICT (Information & Communication Technology) & Digital Skills for LOETB SNAs caters for those with no previous knowledge, or those who have a basic understanding of computer technology and would like to expand that knowledge. The knowledge gained will help support the students you are working with.
Session 3 will look at Assistive Technology software to include literacy and numeracy and will also focus on the many useful Chrome Extensions that can be used to support struggling students and/or students with Disabilities.
