Poetry Revision For Third Year - A Selection of Core Poems to consolidate 1st and 2nd year Learning and prepare Students for The Final Examination
This webinar will address the challenge for students in writing answers to generic questions, making the best use of broad knowledge acquired in first and second year, and of poems selected for special study in third year.
Building on enjoyment and creative response in firsl year, it will focus on how to blend knowledge of poetic techniques with engagement, appreciation and answers that show both clarity and creativity.
The aim is to create a confident candidate equipped with skills required in the new shorter exam time frame, and with a solid foundation in poetry going into senior cycle.
