Creating Sentence Builders and units of Learning using MS Word and MS PowerPoint 15.2.2022

This webinar is primarily suitable to post-primary teachers s content will be secondary school based.  Primary teachers welcome to attend if interested as the principals are universal and how to make sure SB can be used for any topic. Literature will be used as the example. 

The learning outcomes of the Irish Sentence Builder workshop are:

- Compare and contrast the main elements in creating a Sentence Builder

- Identify and apply features of MS Word and MS PowerPoint to help in creating units of learning

- Design a model Sentence Builder and a unit of Learning based on a literature topic

Facilitators:        Aoife agus Órla de Buitléir, Irish Sentence Builders.  Graduates of NUIG and teachers of Irish and Maths in Tullamore College since 2017, both Aoife and Órla have over 8 years teaching experience each from their work in Connemara, Gaeltacht courses and workshops. Aoife has previously worked as a professional translator with NUIG and Context and both are the co-authors of the recently published Irish language textbook 'Irish Sentence Builders' under the guidance of Gianfranco Conti and Dylan Vinales.
