As professionals we make a moral commitment to serve the interests of students by thinking about their well-being and their progress, and deciding how best it can be fostered or promoted. We also review from time to time the nature and effectiveness of our practice in order to improve the quality of our teaching and decision-making. Our third commitment is to continue to develop our practical knowledge through personal reflection and through conversation and dialogue with others (Eraut, 1995).
This webinar for primary and post-primary teachers will give teachers an opportunity to revisit their learning on reflective practice and its critical importance in the lives of educators.
