To know and manage oneself is a critically important skill for all adults in the complex and changing school environment. Our ability to be self-aware allows us to acknowledge our strengths while deepening our understanding of what we need to learn in order to become more fully integrated as a person and as a professional. This webinar for primary and post-primary teachers will discuss the following components:
• The values that we hold as individuals and as a school
• Our personal commitment to education and life-long learning
• Emotional self-control
• Integrity
• Goal-setting
Learning intentions:
• Participants will be encouraged to reflect and name the values that drive their commitment to teaching and learning
• To assist participants in their quest to become more self-aware and more emotionally intelligent
• To further participants’ understanding of personal authenticity and integrity
